Sociologist Michael Kimmel discusses Tea Party rhetoric in the age of Rush Limbaugh in his new book "Angry White Men."

Sociologist Michael Kimmel tackles controversial territory as he tries to explain the emotional response of some of the country's white men (tea party and NRA, as examples) to the election of Barack Obama, changing political demographics, wage stagnation and downward mobility.

Kimmel, professor of gender studies and sociology at Stony Brook, is the author of "Angry White Men: American Masculinity at the End of An Era."
