Bowie State At 150; Living Questions: Religious Moderation; "The Arsonists" Review; Laura Lippman

Bowie State University Archives

Bowie State University, in Prince George’s County, is one of the oldest historically black universities in the country. It celebrates its 150th anniversary this year. We explore its origins as a one-room school house in Baltimore to its evolution into a university with close to 6,000 students.

Then, how do you define religious fundamentalism? Do atheists have more in common with fundamentalists than with agnostics? We explore moderation in faith with William Egginton professor of Humanities at Johns Hopkins.

Plus, theater critic J. Wynn Rousuck on whether the Maryland Ensemble Theatre's production of "The Arsonists" catches fire in Frederick.

And, Baltimore private investigator Tess Monaghan returns in novelist Laura Lippman’s latest mystery, "Hush Hush". Don’t worry, we won’t spoil the ending.
