We take a look at two battles unfolding in Maryland. First, one over plans to export liquefied natural gas from Dominion's Cove Point facility in Calvert County, as opposition to the expanded operations last week turned into one of the largest environmental protests in recent memory.

We’re joined by Alan Krupnick, senior fellow at Resources for the Future, and Mike Tidwell, director of the Chesapeake Climate Action Network. Then, we catch up on the ongoing battle in South Baltimore’s Curtis Bay neighborhood over plans for a waste-to-energy trash incinerator there.
