Since the Ebola epidemic began just over a year ago in West Africa, about 21,000 people have contracted the virus while about 8,500 have died from it. But according to the latest World Health Organization report, new Ebola cases in the three hardest hit countries are on the decline. Midday's doctor-in-residence John Cmar, an infectious disease specialist, updates us on the Ebola outbreak and other health-related news stories.
