To mark the first anniversary of the funeral of Freddie Gray and the protests and street violence that followed, freelance reporter Mary Wiltenburg produced an audio montage of that tumultuous day and its aftermath. The narrative surrounding the Baltimore Uprising is still a work in progress. But the voices of the rioters, protesters and police officers who were there recall the chaotic, shocking events a year ago at Mondawmin Mall and at the corner of Pennsylvania and North Avenues, heard now through the clarifying prism of time and a fuller understanding of the city's response to the unrest.
