On Wednesday, 12 people were killed at the offices of the French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo. The newspaper has been a target of Islamic extremists for publishing satirical cartoons featuring Muhammad. Tens of thousands have taken to the Parisian streets in solidarity against the terrorist attack and in support of freedom of expression. We wanted to get the perspective of someone who believes in the power of satirical cartoons: Baltimore's Kevin  "KAL" Kallaugher.

KAL draws political cartoons for The Economist and The Baltimore Sun. His latest book is Daggers Drawn: 35 Years of Kal Cartoons in The Economist. See KAL's cartoon response to the shooting here.

Host, Midday (M-F 12:00-1:00)
