Putting The "Coo" in "Cooking"

Erin Dickins
Cecile Davis

Erin Dickins is one of the founding members of the great jazz vocal ensemble, The Manhattan Transfer.  She’s got a new CD, called Java Jive, which she’s releasing in conjunction with a cookbook called "Sizzle and Swing: Jazz for Foodies" that suggests pairings of recipes with tunes from the disc.

Erin Dickins is appearing in Baltimore tomorrow night at Germano’s Piattini in Baltimore’s Little Italy. She'll introduce her new CD, and this morning, she joins Tom Hall in the studio.

Her show at Germano's starts at 6:00, and it will benefit Paul’s Place, a non-profit organization that works in the Pigtown/Washington Village community in southwest Baltimore.  Tickets are $75 and can be ordered by calling Germano's at (410) 752-4515 or visiting the Germano's website here.

Host, Midday (M-F 12:00-1:00)
