Caleb Stine is a thoughtful, incisive singer-songwriter who’s had an undeniable impact on the Maryland music scene with his work with the Brakeman and a host of other regular collaborators. He released his sixth solo album last spring, a collection of songs that are haunting, probing, and wholly gratifying. It’s called "Maybe God is Lonely Too." Tom Hall spoke with him about it in April.
You can catch Caleb with his band, The Brakemen this Friday night at The Eubie Blake National Jazz and Cultural Center on Howard Street in Baltimore. J. Pope and Funk Friday are on the bill as well. It’s a benefit for the Youth Empowered Society's Drop-In Center. The show starts at 8:00. You can buy tickets here.
