The number of Marylanders dying from heroin overdoses has been climbing for four years. In an effort to stem the flow of heroin, Maryland’s Attorney General’s is joining counterparts in five other northeast states to share information and jointly prosecute drug traffickers. We talk about it with Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh.

Then, the Pulitzer Prize-winning play “Ruined” is now up at Everyman Theatre in Baltimore. Tom Hall talks with playwright Lynn Nottage. And theater critic J. Wynn Rousuck brings us her review.

Plus, we talk to UMBC physicist Vanderlei Martins about how a tiny satellite you could hold in your hands, called a CubeSat is about to make us smarter about the weather by monitoring earth’s clouds from space.
