The print media industry is changing. It’s being upended by the World Wide Web, which celebrated its 25th anniversary last month.
Newspapers and magazines across the country have closed up shop or been consolidated into larger media groups, as more people get their news on their laptops, phones, and tablets.
But, with all the attention being directed to the new technology that has transformed the media landscape, there’s an upstart news outlet in town that is betting on a technology that’s older than the Bible.
Its called The Baltimore Tablet and every week, news is published, or engraved, on a stone tablet.
Former freelance reporter turned publisher Stephen Pressman created the Tablet and he spoke with Tom Hall this week.
