The High Protein Diet

New research suggests that people younger than 65 might be at a higher risk for cancer if they eat a diet high in protein.

Earlier this month, researchers at the University of Southern California published the results of an 18-year study, correlating high animal protein intake in middle-aged people to a high risk of cancer. At the same time, researchers found that high levels of animal protein are beneficial to people 65 and older.
