Cancer LifeNet is a free-of-charge, supportive care program offered to all residents of Harford and Cecil counties, regardless of where they receive their cancer treatment. Cancer LifeNet is funded fully through philanthropy and is designed to help patients and their loved ones find the resources needed to balance work, family and cancer treatment.
Community members are invited to be part of the walk as a team captain, sponsor, participant and/or donor. Registration for adults is $25, and ages 12 and younger are free of charge. The in-person event will take place at the Camden Yards Sports Complex and features a timed 5K run or a 1.6-mile mobility-accessible loop around Baltimore’s renowned stadiums. Registered participants will receive a complimentary t-shirt, bag and participants will receive medals at the end of the event. Following the walk and run, families can enjoy a dedicated kids’ zone featuring activities such as a moon bounce, glitter tattoos, giant bubbles, face painting, a coloring wall, children’s books and inflatable basketball and football games. Complimentary on-site parking and access to harm prevention resources will also be available.
