RAVI COLTRANE is a critically acclaimed GRAMMY™ & deeply cerebral jazz nominated saxophonist, bandleader, and composer. In the course of a twenty plus year career, Mr. Coltrane has worked as a sideman to many, and recorded noteworthy albums for himself and others. Despite his family legacy and strong affinity for both of his parents' musical output, he has established himself as a distinctively engrossing player in his own right.
Ravi has released six albums as a leader. His albums include, “Moving Pictures,” “From The Round Box,” “Mad 6,” “In Flux,” “Blending Times,” and “Spirit Fiction.” Additional credits include performances as well as recordings with Elvin Jones, Terence Blanchard, Kenny Barron, Steve Coleman, McCoy Tyner, Jack DeJohnette, Matt Garrison, Jeff 'Tain' Watts, Geri Allen, Joanne Brackeem, The Blue Note 7, among others. He is a co-leader of the Saxophone Summit with Joe Lovano and Dave Liebman.

Jewish Community Services offers "Care Partner Conversations: When Your Loved One Has Dementia," a supportive group meeting on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 10:00 – 11:30 am via Zoom. This group provides conversation, support, resources, and education for those caring for a loved one with dementia, facilitated by Jennifer Sapp, MSG, LCSW-C. Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous (FA) is a free Twelve Step recovery program for anyone suffering from food obsession, overeating, under-eating, bulimia or other food-related issues. This focus exhibition of 10 works explores the relationship between burning fossil fuels—namely, coal—and the emergence of European modernism. Drawing on research conducted by climate scientists and art historians, the exhibition presents a range of paintings and works on paper by Henri Matisse, Claude Monet, James McNeill Whistler, and others to explore the ways that their artistic practices and style emerged, in part, in response to widespread pollution in London and Paris.Presented as part of the Turn Again to the Earth environmental initiative.
This session will provide an overview of recent data related to Alzheimer’s disease and dementia and discuss the American public’s current perspectives related to caregiving and treatment. We will explore the importance of maintaining brain health throughout our adult lives and the benefits of early detection, which can lead to improved health outcomes. Offers 1.0 Category I CEUs.
