Heidi Ackerman is the conductor of the Frederick Chorale and an Army veteran. She is very excited to be performing with soldiers from the U.S. Army Field Band at Baker Park to honor service members and veterans with a free concert. She had the honor of serving in the Army Field Band for seven years, touring the country performing for our nation's veterans. She's delighted to bring her Army unit to Frederick and to have Mayor Michael O'Connor as emcee! In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held at Talley Recreation Center.
