Snow and ice on the ground this morning have caused some public schools to stay closed a bit later than usual.
Baltimore City schools and Baltimore County schools are on a 2-hour delay.
There’s also a 2-hour delay for schools in Carroll County, Harford County, and Howard County.
Washington County’s Cascade Zone schools are on a 2-hour delay… the rest of the Washington County public school system is opening on time.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through 8am. A Wind Advisory goes into effect at noon today, with wind gusts up to 55 mph this afternoon and this evening.
