Public schools in the WYPR listening area are CLOSED today. That's schools in Baltimore City and Baltimore County... as well as those in: Anne Arundel County, Caroline County, Carroll County, Cecil County, Frederick County, Harford County, Howard County, Kent County, Montgomery County, Prince George's County, Queen Anne's County, Talbot County, and Washington County.
DC offices of the Federal Government are CLOSED today.
All state offices and facilities are CLOSED today.
There's no MARC train service on the Camden or Brunswick lines. Penn line MARC trains are on an S schedule. Commuter Bus Route 201 is operating as scheduled, but service has been suspended on other commuter bus routes today. And the snow has prompted a series of diversions for local MTA buses.
There are many other closures and schedule changes in effect today -- be sure to call your employer or educator before you leave home. And the snow-covered roads are making travel slow and dangerous. Exercise extreme caution if you need to drive today.
And if you're looking to find out when your street will be plowed, WYPR's Kenneth Burns has this guide.
