Last night's snowfall has left this morning's roads icy; officials urge you to be careful on untreated roads, bridges, and overpasses -- and to drive more slowly and carefully than usual.
Some schools are changing their schedules:
TWO HOUR DELAY: Anne Arundel County schools, Baltimore City schools, Baltimore County schools, Carroll County schools, Howard County schools, and Montgomery County schools.
CLOSED: Caroline County schools, Kent County schools, Prince George's County schools, Queen Anne's County schools, Talbot County schools, Wicomico County Schools, and Worcester County schools.
Last night's snow pales in comparison to what's on the horizon. The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Watch for much of the listening area from Friday afternoon to Saturday night. Forecasters say they're now expecting between 18 and 24 inches of snow to fall before the storm's done.
