The National Weather Services has posted a BLIZZARD WARNING from 3pm Friday through 6am Sunday. Governor Larry Hogan has issued a State of Emergency for Maryland.
NWS forecasters say Baltimore City is likely to get about 24 inches of snow, with 18 to 24 inches possible to the east and 24 to 30 inches possible to the west.
Many schools are changing their schedules as the blizzard approaches.
CLOSED: Baltimore City schools, Baltimore County schools, Howard County schools, Montgomery County schools, Prince George's County schools, and Talbot County schools.
CLOSING TWO HOURS EARLY: Anne Arundel County schools and Frederick County schools
CLOSING THREE HOURS EARLY: Carroll County schools
HALF DAY: Queen Anne's County schools
