Baltimore County would pay $78 million for infrastructure at Tradepoint Atlantic under a new proposal unveiled this week.
The County Council is scheduled to vote Dec. 17 on the package that would commit $34 million for road construction and up to $44 million for water and sewer lines at the 3,200-acre project expected to attract 17,000 new jobs to the area. The deal would replace a tax increment financing package of up to $150 million Tradepoint officials were eyeing for the work.
A public work session on the $78 million deal is scheduled for Dec. 11 in Towson.
