The partners behind a popular Washington, D.C.-based cannabis brand are now working to build up a new cultivation facility in Hagerstown.
Maryland Cultivation and Processing, a company led by co-founders Edward Weidenfeld and Andras Kirschner, has been cleared by the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission to build operations in the state as a growing business. The two have obtained a site in Hagerstown, and are working to convert a 36,000-square-foot warehouse space for use in producing medical cannabis under the District Cannabis brand.
