If you're just looking for a normal beer, DuClaw Brewing Co. may literally have just the thing.
Later this month, Baltimore-based DuClaw will debut its newest craft beverage: "Regular Beer." In a world where liquor stores and bars are stocked with a variety of beers with intricately designed labels, DuClaw hopes "Regular Beer" will tap into consumers' desire for simplicity. DuClaw crafted the American Lager as a response to customers repeatedly asking if the brewery had any "regular beer" to offer. The brewery, which ranked as Baltimore's second largest in 2017, is mostly known for its sours, double IPAs and stouts. The can’s appearance matches the simplicity of the beer inside. The beer sports a plain, white label wrapped around a basic, silver can. Beside the DuClaw logo on the can's side, a label reads, "Regular Beer." in invitingly basic font. Beneath that, the label touts "a beer that tastes like beer."
