Want a cup of bubble tea or a rice bowl with an origami lesson on the side?
All are on the menu at Bambao, a fast-casual Asian fusion eatery set to open in Harbor East next month that will offer a "taste of Zen." The restaurant will also have regular origami classes and will partner with local yoga studios and running clubs to help promote wellness as a side dish to its culinary specialties. Bambao will replace the former Manchurian Rice Co. at Aliceanna Street and Central Avenue that closed this year after transferring its liquor license to a new restaurant space in Canton at the former Fork & Wrench building.
