prouts Farmers Market will open its fifth Maryland store this summer and is hiring over 100 workers to staff it. The Arizona-based grocer will open a location at the Collective at Canton in Baltimore on July 22 at 7 a.m. The nearly 29,000-square-foot store will create 110 full and part-time jobs when it opens at 3800 Boston St. A virtual hiring fair with video interviews is schedule for June 10 and 11, and those interested can apply online at sprouts.com/careers.
Positions include department managers and assistant managers, clerks, cashiers, courtesy clerks, backup receiver, administrative coordinator and scan coordinator. Sprouts will be part of the Collective at Canton, the latest development in that neighborhood from 28 Walker and developer Mark Sapperstein. The $100 million project at Boston and Haven streets in southeast Baltimore will also include a 150-room hotel, retail and a five-story office building.
