Dangerously Delicious Pies will venture beyond its namesake dish.
Changes are afoot for the popular Baltimore piemaker's Hampden location. The shop at 810 W. 36th St., along "The Avenue," is being transformed into a "Dangerously Delicious headquarters and test kitchen," a place both for pie making and experimenting with new offerings to be served without a crust, Dangerously Delicious founder Rodney Henry said this week. On Thursday, Henry landed a liquor license for the Hampden store, which has been closed for renovations the past several months. He plans to reopen the spot in time for Labor Day weekend and roll out a frequently rotating menu of "really killer dishes."
