Baltimoreans in 1936, walking about downtown, could sense that there was something different about the city.
It didn't take them long to discover that the long-familiar skyline had suddenly changed. The big Bromo Seltzer bottle had been taken down off of its perch high atop the Bromo building on Eutaw Street, leaving the skyline configuration forever changed.
