Governor Boyd Rutherford joins us for an update on the Maryland Heroin and Opioid Emergency Task Force, which just announced that eight Maryland county jails will start using medication to treat addicts before they are released. Also joining us: Baltimore City Health Commissioner Dr. Leana Wen; Linda Williams, a member of the task force and executive director of a non-profit in Harford County that connects people to treatment; and Carlos Hardy, a recovered addict and founder of a statewide organization for recovery groups.
