Women’s History Month is U.S. History Series Salutes Condoleezza Rice

This month we are paying tribute to a select group of outstanding women who have help our nation move forward as a result of their leadership and commitment to public service. The GOOD News is the first Black women to serve as United States Secretary of State was Condoleezza Rice.

Dr. Chavis is African American civil rights leader and icon, United Church of Christ (UCC) ordained minister, author, journalist, organic chemist, environmentalist, global entrepreneur, and currently President and CEO of the National Newspaper Publishers Association (NNPA) based in Washington, DC since 2014.
