Last month, AmeenaRuffin and Korey Johnson, members of the Towson University Debate Team, won the Cross Examination Debate Association national championship. They are the first African American women’s team to win a national title. On the way to their victory, they bested teams from Harvard, Michigan, NYU and many other prestigious schools.
