The month of April brings rain to the Northeast and poetry nation wide. Tonight, coinciding with National Poetry Month, Baltimore based Poulenc Trio will perform a program that features the award winning poet Lia Purpura. The program will take place at The Barns at Wolf Trap, just south of Baltimore in Virginia. The Trio was founded twelve years ago and includes pianist Irina Kaplan, oboist Vladimir Lande, and bassoonist Bryan Young. Host Tom Hall joins Lia Purpura and the trio at Goucher College in Towson while they rehearse for tonight's show.
