Harnessing The Internet For New Ways To Deal With Disability

IMAGE Center of Maryland

Being disabled is not some odd status that afflicts just a few people. If you’re in your 30's, even if you don’t smoke and if you keep your weight down, there’s still an almost 4-in-10 chance you’ll be disabled by something for five years or more. That according to the Council for Disability Awareness.

And, of course, the risk of being disabled rises as we age. Michael Bullis has a big idea about how to compensate for all of this. He’s founder and executive director of The IMAGE Center of Maryland, and he joins us in the studio.

Sheilah Kast is the host of On The Record, Monday-Friday, 9:30-10:00 am.
