In the time it takes you to read this sentence, thousands of Tweets were sent out on Twitter, the social media platform where users can send out their thoughts 140 characters at a time. Baltimore tech entrepreneur Dave Troy has thought a lot about who’s sending those Tweets and who they’re connected with. For several years, he’s been creating colorful images of social media networks in Baltimore. He joins Sheilah Kast to talk about what they can tell us about Charm city.

You can see more of Dave Troy's visualizations here. You can find out what your social media network looks like as part of his project, People Maps.
