In 2004, at age 18, Brian Boyle was severely injured in a near-fatal car accident, spending almost two-months in a medically-induced coma. He shares what he learned during his recovery, in his new book titled, “The Patient Experience: The Importance of Care, Communication, and Compassion in the Hospital Room.”
