Imagine if a movie was being filmed in a Maryland city or town, and 350 extras were picked to share the screen with the actors and actresses. Then imagine that one of the extras comes up with his own idea for a movie, starring the extras.
Swap out Maryland for Ireland, and you are now imagining the premise of Stones in His Pockets.
Maryland Morning theater critic J. Wynn Rousuck says "instead of a movie, this is a play about the extras being the stars."
This production features lots of characters, lots of theatrics, and lots of interaction with the audience, but should you head to Center Stage without haste, or skip Stones?
Stones in His Pockets is up until February 23.
